Shylyn Prentice is a higher education professional committed to fostering inclusive and student-centered campus communities. As a student center leader and Black feminist practitioner, she grounds her work in equity, justice, and holistic student support. She holds a Master’s degree in Administration of Human Services from Chestnut Hill College, which informs her people-centered and systems-focused approach to leadership. With over a decade of experience spanning financial aid, residence life, and student development, Shylyn brings a comprehensive understanding of the student experience. Her practice centers diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as foundational (not supplemental) to institutional success. Through strategic programming, advocacy, and relationship-building, Shylyn works to ensure that every student feels seen, affirmed, and empowered to thrive.
