We are at a pivotal point in our university's history, with opportunities to build our institution’s future. In alignment with the Strategic Framework, and inspired by principles of an inclusive community - derived from scholars, researchers, activists, changemakers, youth, and organizers - we bring the GW community our 11th OneGW Summit: Many Voices. OneGW. 

Across three transformative days, our university will host students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to confront the hard questions about community building and chart a bolder path forward. We will challenge comfortable narratives about higher education and identify frameworks that turn good intentions into measurable change.

The Summit will:

• Host candid conversations on equity in the classroom and beyond, workshops that equip you with real tools for being in coalition and working across difference, and voices who bring to their leadership roles humility and the capacity to listen to all members of our community
• Serve as a catalyst for deeper engagement, connection, and meaningful dialogue
• Honor the coexistence of multiple truths, demonstrating our strength to come together, break bread, and build as OneGW.

This is a GW experience where disagreement is welcome, where lived experience is data, and where every voice — especially those too often unheard — shapes deliberation and decision-making.

Infused by longstanding university values, the OneGW Summit: Many Voices. OneGW. will continue to be grounded in learning, dialogue, research, storytelling, and education on identity and pathways to sustainable positive action. The Summit will be:

• A time of reflection, ideation, collaboration, and inspiration
• An opportunity and curated experience for the whole GW community to bring all of their identities, lived experiences, stories, and various perspectives into a shared space
• A groundswell of engagement through civil discourse, deep listening, and healthy debate

We welcome members of the GW community from all identities and viewpoints. We are here to co-create what belonging means at our university, and to hold ourselves accountable for getting there.
