Samaa Afoke

Samaa Afoke is a third-year Public Health student on the pre-medical track at George Washington University. Her interests center on health equity, global health, health policy, pediatric care, and human rights. She is actively involved in several student organizations at GW that advance these interests, including Partners In Health Engage and BGPC. Samaa joined the CORE Health Research Lab in Spring 2026, where she has continued to develop her passion for health equity research. She is excited to share her research with the broader GW community at the 2026 OneGW Summit.
