Rebecca Pinkus

Rebecca Pinkus, PT, DPT, ADCE currently serves as an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Director of Clinical Education at the George Washington University.‚ÄØ Dr. Pinkus graduated from Ithaca College with her DPT in 2007 and has been practicing in a wide variety of settings, with her priority focus in acute care and neurology.‚ÄØ She became a Board-Certified Neurological Specialist in 2022 and joined the GW core faculty in 2023 after holding an adjunct position for the GW DPT program since 2020. She has been an active participant in the Interprofessional Committee for 2 years and is interested in research related to translation of classroom to clinic. She is currently the Nominating Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Consortium of Physical Therapy Education. She has been part of the ENGAGE committee, which promotes GW PT's community engagement initiatives, since becoming core faculty. She currently lives in Rockville, MD with her husband and two children.
