Andre L. Culbreath

Dr. Andre L. Culbreath is Chief Diversity Academic Officer and Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in GW's Columbian College of Arts & Sciences, where he leads DEI programming, strategic planning, and affinity group development. Prior to GW, he served as Deputy Director for DEI for Residential Life and Student Affairs at Penn State, supporting the division across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. An Air Force veteran with an Ed.D., He has mentored aspiring student affairs professionals through the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program and served on the Region II Advisory Board of NASPA (the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators). He also dedicates his time to his church's financial aid ministry, supporting college students who are members of FBCG International, and is a longtime member of the NAACP, Toastmasters International, and Lions Clubs International.
