Erica Fuentes

Erica Fuentes is an occupational therapist with 22 years of clinical experience serving children from birth to 18 years of age across school, outpatient, and home settings. Her areas of practice include early intervention, sensory integration, feeding difficulties, and learning disabilities. Erica values mentoring, collaborative teamwork, and relationship building and brings a strong commitment to partnering with children, families, and communities to support meaningful participation. Through her work with the GW OT Department, she builds meaningful connections with diverse community partners across the DC/DMV area, creating opportunities to learn from and honor the identities, perspectives, and lived experiences that strengthen our shared community. She earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2004 and is currently pursuing a Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate at Towson University.
